Chris J. Valianos, since joining Cordova in 1992, has been involved as a director, officer and shareholder in all of the Cordova funds to date. Currently, Mr. Valianos is President of Cordova Realty II, LLC and the managing partner of Cordova Realty Partners II, L.P. As such, Mr. Valianos is responsible for evaluating, structuring and monitoring the investments made by Cordova Realty Partners.

Prior to joining Cordova, Mr. Valianos was a practicing attorney in Atlanta for over 20 years with a concentration in corporate and real estate law. He was a senior partner of Brent & Valianos, and from l990 to l995 was Special Counsel to Hunton & Williams, one of the world's 50 largest law firms with over 800 lawyers in 15 offices worldwide.

Before becoming an attorney, Mr. Valianos was with the Office of the Comptroller for the Departments of Defense and Army at the Pentagon. He received official commendations for his work establishing procedures for analyzing capital investments and for his role as the highest civilian official in the Pentagon responsible for the administration of the Army’s worldwide cost reduction program. Prior to his civilian work at the Pentagon, he was a Captain in the United States Marine Corps. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Relations from Cornell University, studied at the Sorbonne University in Paris, France and received his law degree with honors from George Washington University where he was Associate Editor of the Law Review.
